Account Information
How do I open an account?
Click on the Open Demo Account link anywhere on the site, and then complete the form for a free 30-day Demo Trial account.
To open a live trading account, click the Open Live Account link, and an online application form will open up. Complete the online application form and submit the application with all required supporting documents. You will receive an email confirmation upon successful completion of the application.
Why does the demo account only last 30 days?
The MetaTrader 4 demo is only meant as a taste to show how the platform works. You can continue on the Hantec MT4 platform beyond the 30 days by opening a live account.
Is Hantec's Online Application available in different languages?
The online application is available in English, Italian and Chinese and will soon be available in German.
How long does it take for Hantec to set up the account from the day you receive the application?
Individual accounts are usually set up within 1 hour when all requested documents are received. Corporate accounts take approximately 2 business days.
What is the minimum amount to open an account?
The minimum amount to open an account is USD 1000.
I don't have a passport - can I open an account with another document?
Yes, any official piece of identification with photo and signature is accepted.
Can I withdraw my money whenever I want?
Yes. Just fax us your Fund Withdrawal Request and Hantec Markets will wire the funds to your bank account. For credit card payments, funds will be returned back to the credit card you used to fund your Hantec account with.
Can I transfer funds from my trading account to the trading account of another client?
No, it is forbidden to transfer funds between different clients' accounts and third parties.
Is it possible to open more than one account?
Yes. You can open several subaccounts to your main account. To open a subaccount, contact us now to speak with a member of our Customer Support Team for more information. Minimum deposit for a sub account is USD 1000.
Does Hantec Markets pay interest on the outstanding balance of my account?
No, your account does not earn interest. It is a trading account, not a bank account.
Do you charge fees or commissions when opening an account with Hantec Markets?
No, Hantec Markets does not charge any fees or commission on account opening, maintenance or closing.
Does Hantec Markets accept wire transfers?
Yes, you can fund your Hantec trading account by bank wire transfer. For wiring instructions, please click on "Fund Your Account" or alternatively send an email request to info@hantecfx.com or call Customer Service at + 44 (0) 207 036 0850 for assistance.
You can also fund your account via a Credit Card.
Does Hantec Markets charge a fee for wire transfers?
No. However, the depository bank usually charges a transaction fee. Call your depository bank for information on fees and deduction options.
What currencies are accepted for wire transfers?
Hantec accepts the following currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, AUD, CAD, and CNY.
How much time is required before my transferred funds are deposited?
Hantec handles all transactions the day they are received. Please take note that the transaction time also depends on the processing time required by the depository bank.
Does Hantec Markets accept funds from third parties?
No. Hantec only accepts funds from bank accounts that carry the same name as the client's.
Does Hantec Markets accept Transfers via Credit Card?
Yes. You can fund your Hantec trading account via Credit or Debit Card. We accept the following Credit or Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, Maestro, JCB, Airplus, and UATP.

Do you manage funds?
Hantec Markets provides an execution only online service. We do not offer a managed account service.
Is hedging allowed?
Yes, hedging is allowed.
Do you have guaranteed fills?
All orders are executed at requested price under normal market conditions. In situations of market gaps it is impossible to cover the positions with our liquidity providers, your stop orders may be filled at a different price than initially requested.
What is the maximum you increase your spreads in volatile markets?
It is impossible to give a fixed maximum as it entirely depends on the market. Spreads are usually higher during important news announcements or in volatile markets.
Why is it not possible to trade or to modify orders during the weekend?
The markets are closed during weekends and trading access is therefore blocked.
