Bashir Nurmohamed
Chief Executive Officer  

Bashir is a co founder of Hantec Markets Limited and a veteran of the financial markets with a wealth of experience accumulated over the last 25 years. His career has been truly diverse ranging from start up businesses, through principle brokerage houses, investment banks and central banks gaining him extensive knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Bullion, Financial & Commodity Futures and OTC Derivatives products

Bashir is responsible for the overall strategic management and direction of the company. His passion for offering clients a superior service led him to joining forces with Hayel in 2010 to grow Hantec Markets Limited into a dominant force in the online foreign exchange and financial brokerage sector.

Hayel Abu Hamdan
Chief Operating Officer  

Hayel began his career in London in 1993 and possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the financial markets, industry trends coupled with a strong understanding of regulatory and systems requirements within the e-financial industry.

He has an Executive MBA from Business School Lausanne (cum laude Honors), together with 17 years sales, marketing and business development experience in Foreign Exchange, Futures, Options, Equities, Bullion and CFD's. He also possesses extensive knowledge and expertise of the regulatory compliance requirements of the FSA and other international regulators.

Hayel is a highly motivated professional with excellent management skills. He has a proven record of strong leadership at senior management and Board level, coupled with the ability to direct teams in managing customer relationships and providing investment services making him the ideal choice to oversee the company's operations, objectives and respective targets.

In his spare time, when he is not entertaining his two children, Hayel enjoys cooking, reading, travelling and following the success of Manchester United.

Richard Lam

Director

Prior to joining Hantec in 1999, Mr. Richard Lam held professional and management positions with various Hong Kong and international financial institutions in the domain of investment banking and portfolio management for more than 10 years. Mr. Lam graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in management and received a Master of Business Administration Degree in finance from the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Mr. Lam is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, and currently serves as a Director for Hantec Markets Limited as well as holding the positon of Managing Director of the Hantec Group.

Tang Yu Lap
Non Executive Director  

Mr. Tang Yu Lap is the founder of the Hantec Group, and is responsible for the overall strategic planning and development of overseas markets. Having established the Group in 1990, Mr Tang successfully guided the company to be listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange. In 2009 Mr Tang founded Hantec Markets Limited as part of his vision for the global expansion of the Hantec Group.
 
With over 30 years experience in the financial services sector, Mr Tang has held many senior positions and has been in-charge of capital market and treasury functions in various local and international banks. His ethos of customer focus and quality of service is embedded within the Hantec culture and is clearly evident from the success of the Hantec Group.

Mr. Tang obtained a Honorary Doctor of Business Administration in Finance & Investment from Irish International University, 3ème Cycle Master from European Business School and Honorary Certified Doctor of Business Administration Award from The Oxford Association of Management.

James Yu
Non Executive Director

With over 30 years of experience with various multinational financial institutions, James is currently an Assistant General Manager of a Hong Kong-based bank.

Apart from serving on the Hantec board as a Non-Executive Director, James is also an Independent Non-executive Director of a list technology company in Hong Kong.

Richard Cohen
Non Executive Director

A qualified solicitor, Richard founded Landau & Cohen Solicitors in 1981, before joining Epoq Group (www.epoq.co.uk) in 1998 as Joint CEO and now Chairman.

Epoq is the organisation behind virtually all of the online legal service offerings from the banking, insurance and financial services sectors such as More Th>n, Barclays, AA, SAGA, HBOS, RBS, NatWest etc as well as the DirectLaw service (www.directlaw.co.uk) for law firms in the UK and USA.

He is serving on the Solicitors Regulatory Authority Working Group for the introduction of Alternative Business Structures under the Legal Services Act 2007, served on the Legal Services Policy Institute and the Legal Services Consumer Panel.

Richard serves on the Hantec board as a Non-Executive Director.
