How do I open an account?

To open a live trading account, click the Open Live Account link, and an online application form will open up. Complete the online application form and submit the application with all required supporting documents. You will receive an email confirmation upon successful completion of the application.
Click on the Open Demo Account link anywhere on the site, and complete the form for a free 30-day Demo Trial account.

Why does the demo account only last 30 days?

The MetaTrader 4 demo is only meant as a taste to show how the platform works. You can continue on the Hantec MT4 platform beyond the 30 days by opening a live account.

No. Hantec only accepts funds from bank accounts that carry the same name as the client's.

Yes. You can fund your Hantec trading account via Credit or Debit Card. We accept the following Credit or Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, Maestro, JCB, Airplus, and UATP.

Does Hantec Markets charge a dormant account fee?

Yes. Any account in which there has been no activity for more than six months will be classified as dormant and charged a dormant account fee of USD 25. The fee will be charged every six months if there continues to be no activity in the account(s).To avoid being charged a dormant account fee, you need to complete at least one transaction in your account(s) in any given 6 months period.
If your account balance is zero or the dormant account fee will bring the balance of your account to zero or negative, Hantec Markets will charge such part of the fee that brings the account balance to zero and then close that account as per clause 2.32.1.2. in Hantec Markets’ Terms and Conditions. Hantec Markets provides an execution only online service. We do not offer a managed account service.

Is scalping allowed?

Scalping is allowed but can only constitute 30% of traded volume. Unethical scalping taking advantage of latency is not permitted. In the event that our liquidity providers cancel any trades deemed unethical and taking advantage of latency, we will also cancel all such trades from the clients' trading accounts.

Do you have guaranteed fills?

All orders are executed at requested price under normal market conditions. In situations of market gaps it is impossible to cover the positions with our liquidity providers, and your stop orders may be filled at a different price than initially requested.

What is the maximum you increase your spreads in volatile markets?

It is impossible to give a fixed maximum as it entirely depends on the market. Spreads are usually higher during important news announcements or in volatile markets.

Why is it not possible to trade or to modify orders during the weekend?

The markets are closed during weekends and trading access is therefore blocked.
